I love Shawn's look at me at the end of his test. "I did it, Mom!"
I missed the first half of his test because the kids sitting in front
of the class were also testing with him (for stripes on their white
belts) and they blocked my view. Oh, well. Shawn tested for the gold
belt by himself, so I had a clear view of him. It's so fun watching him
take such pride in his accomplishment.
